We’d like to make you aware of the historic difficulty of the tOur du la course!
We don’t want to set a minimum level for this format, but beware!
be aware that without specific and adequate training,
it will be difficult to complete the relay and finish the tOur du
Lac as a team. It’s up to you to be tactical: place the right relay runner on the right
portion of the race !

- Registration is done by a team captain, who can then manage the team interface and the names of his or her team members.
- The race can be run with 2, 3 or 4 runners, but only 1 classification.
- If a runner drops out or is not within the time limit, the next runner will be allowed to start just before the time limit. The team will nonetheless be considered as “abandoned”.
- The relay will take place in the “indicated on site” zone. This zone will be located outside, in the middle of the assistance zone for the between the green (zone entry) and red (zone exit) signs.
- The runner who has just finished his or her relay will be able to access the refreshment area before changing, but other relay runners will not.
- The and other relay runners may not “enter” the “covered” zone covered” area (gymnasium or marquee) where refreshments are taken.
- The order of the relays is free and does not need to be communicated in advance.

What is "bascule" or cut system ?
- To give you more chance of being a finisher, we’ve set up a “bascule” system.
- You’ve been training for months, but on the D day you’re feeling not so good… We’ve thought of you and set up “shortcuts”
- Tracks with bascule 1 and bascule 2 -> depending on when you pass these intersections, you’ll be redirected to a new, shorter route called “bascule”. If you cross the finish line (after passing through the following time gates) you will be a “finisher” with a time penalty.

bIBS cOLLECTION
- No bibs will be distibuted on race day.
- Bib collection is the day before the race.
- One month before the race, you must reserve your time slot on your personal space.
- In your space, you’ll find the pick-up card you’ll need to present with your race number, time slot and options.
- To collect your race number, you’ll need to show proof of identity and your collection card.
- If you are unable to collect your race number, you can have it collected by a third party by submitting a handwritten letter on plain paper (which we will keep). You’ll need to specify your race number, the name and contact details of the person picking up in your place. In this case, two pieces of identification will be required.
