The Mini-Race is a children’s race by the lake, around the MaXi-village in Annecy-le-Vieux. It is an opportuntiy for children to join in this great sporting event at a suitable level. A way to follow in their parents’ footsteps or perhaps to reveal the Maxi-Race finishers of the future!

Technical data

  • Race from 3 years: 3/4years – 5/6 years, 7/9 years, etc. Parents must be present!
  • Sunday May, 30
  • Races from 100m to 800m according to age.
  • One adult may run with children born between 2018 and 2017.
  • Children born between 2016 and 2011 are big enough to run alone. The accompanying adult must remain outside the barriers and cannot come to the start line.

    Registration and distribution of “bib n°1” for all participants
    Please note you will have to fill in a parental consent form, so please allow some time for this and do not all come at once at 10.30am!
    Reminder: These are Mini-Races to introduce children to the sport, so there are no winners and no prizes! A welcome gift will be given to the first 500 children registered (subject to available sizes)!
  • 2018 (+/- 3 years): 1 adult ONLY may accompany the child
    • Meet 10.40am, we will take them to the start line at 10.50am
    • Start around 11am for 100m race
  • 2017 (+/- 4 years) : 1 adult ONLY may accompany the child
    • Meet 10.45am, we will take them to the start line at 10.50am
    • Start around 11.05am for 250m race
  • 2016 (+/-5 years)
    • Meet 10.50am, we will take them to the start line at 10.55am
    • Start around 11.10m for 400m race
  • 2015 (+/-6 years)
    • Meet 10.55am, we will take them to the start line at 11.00am
    • Start around 11.15am for 600m race
  • 2014 (+/-7 years)
    • Meet 11.00am, we will take them to the start line at 11.05am
    • Start around 11.20am for 600m race
  • 2015 (+/-8 years)
    • Meet 11.05am, we will take them to the start line at 11.10am
    • Start around 11.25am for 800m race
  • 2016 (+/-9 years)
    • Meet 11.10am, we will take them to the start line at 11.15am
    • Start around 11.30am for 800m race
  • 2017 (+/-10 years)
    • Meet 11.15am, we will take them to the start line at 11.20am
    • Start around 11.35am for 800m race
