How the waiting list works
Dates to remember:
- November 6: allveryone not selected for pre-registration will automatically be put on the waiting list.
- Between November 6 and 15: you can ONLY check your place on the waiting list via your personal account. No Bib redemption will be possible between these dates.
- November 15: official Bibs sales open. ONLY THEN will people on the waiting list be able to buy a Bib.
How Bib redemption works via the waiting list :
- If someone claims their Bib on the Race format you are registered on: the first person on the waiting list will be contacted by our registration provider Sportips ( no-reply@sportips.fr ). Don't forget to check your spam!
- From then on, the person will have a limited time of 24 hours to accept or refuse the Bib
- If the first person on the waiting list does not buy the Bib, it will be offered to the second person on the waiting list, and so on.
- If you decide to buy the proposed Bib , you will pay the registration fee + €5 (administration fee).
- The Bib is automatically bought back with all the options taken by the first buyer.
How can I see my position on the waiting list?
- You can check your position via the following link: https: //sportips.fr/inscription/MAXIRACE26/liste-attente
- Simply enter your e-mail address and the Race you are registered with.
- For those not selected during pre-registration, the waiting list has been drawn up in the order of pre-registration. Buddy/family" registrations will be "split up" to be put on the waiting list - if a person is taken on the waiting list, they will be taken on their own and not in a "group".
How do I get on the waiting list?
- You can register on the waiting list of the Race of your choice, via the following link: https: //sportips.fr/inscription/MAXIRACE26/liste-attente
How do I get off the waiting list?
- You cannot unsubscribe from the waiting list via your personal profile.
- From November 7, you can send an e-mail to inscriptionmaxirace@gmail.com to be removed from the waiting list.
Registration follow-up
The second selection wave is drawing to a close, and all the Bibs have been awarded.
- Those selected have received a confirmation e-mail from our registration module provider (sportips).
- Those not selected were also informed by e-mail on Tuesday, November 4.
To find out if you have been selected :
- You must have received an e-mail
- Check your personal details
- You can also check the list of registered users: https: //sportips.fr/inscription/MAXIRACE26/admin/verifier-inscription
- For those who have not been selected, you still appear on the pre-registration list: https: //sportips.fr/inscription/MAXIRACE26/liste-preinscrits
PS: there's so much interest (we could do 4 events with all the requests), that we know a lot of riders will be frustrated not to be selected.
News and key dates to remember
The adidas TERREX MaXi-Race 2026 will take place on May 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2026.
In 2026, the adidas TERREX MaXi-Race changes provider for the registration module.
This year, there will be a pre-registration period from October 1 at 12:00 to October 30, 2025 at 9:00.
We will be holding 2 registration validation sessions.
- The first wave of validation will take place between October 15 and 17 for around 50 to 70% of Bibs.
- The second wave of validation will take place between October 30 and November 2, and you will receive confirmation emails (for validated Bibs ) and waiting-list emails (for non-selected Bibs) between October 30 and November 2.
- Then, for those not selected, a waiting list will be set up, in order of pre-registration. Buddy/family" registrations will be "split up" to be put on the waiting list - if a person is taken on the waiting list, they will be taken on their own and not in a "group".
- If after the second validation wave there are still places available on certain race formats, the principle of first paid entry = first registered will apply.
Beware of special cases:

3 different registration strategies
This year, there are 3 ways to register, so it's up to you to choose the one that suits you best!
- This type of registration is intended for people who wish to pre-register individually.
- If this is the case, go to our registration module between October 1 and 15 to pre-register by filling in the required information.
- The aim of the "buddy/family" pre-registration is that if the file of one of your buddies or family member is validated, your file will be validated at the same time (but be careful on the last straight line of the selections, the system will favor individual registrations (to be sure to have the right number of registrants and not to exceed).
- To register your pre-registrations as "friends/family", here's how to do it:
- a single person must pre-register all his/her "friends/family" via the registration module. To do this, you can add the different races of several people to your basket between October 1 and 30, by clicking on "add an additional participant". Everyone must register at the same time; we won't add anyone to your "buddy/family" group after finalization.
- buddies/families" can sign up for different Race formats, so not everyone has to do the same distance.
- Please note that the bank imprint must be made using a single card. If your "group/family" pre-registrations are validated, the registration fee will only be debited from this bank account and not from each person's account.
- in the event of cancellation (if the cancellation insurance option was taken out at the time of registration), reimbursement will be made according to the share of the person who cancelled and only to the credit card of the person who paid.
- Here's a tip: organize a little jogging with your friends and family, and finish off with an aperitif to collect all the registration information and have a great time!
- Groups (from 20 people) are only possible if the structure(FFA club, company) requests it. Groups of friends are therefore not possible.
- To benefit from "group" pre-registration, please send a request to inscriptionmaxirace@gmail.com between September 15 and October 5 (then enter the names between October 1 and 14).
- You will then receive a special link to pre-register your group members.
- Please note that only 1 payment must be made in the name of the association or company - Payment must be made by the specified date.
- These Bibs are neither transferable nor saleable.
How is your visit validated?
The adidas TERREX MaXi-Race is for everyone: from the elite to the disabled, from the young to the less trained, from local residents to French and international athletes.
As in recent years, a quota of Bibs will be reserved*: valid only for pre-registration requests made on the registration module between October 1 and 14.
- local runners** (who have already taken part in the event)
- partners
- runners registered for the Race partenaire de Plaintel and runners registered for and taking the start of the Race Martigues Carro 28km
- to specific groups
- etc ...
In the spirit of ONE EVENT FOR EVERYONE, we've abandoned the "who's the fastest and has the right schedule" approach to registration, so that you can be in front of your PC at opening time (or who has the fastest internet connection...). So we've set up a system for allocating Bibs that's designed to be as consistent as possible, taking into account the performance levels of pre-registrants.
Explanation:
Let's take the following example... we say it's an example ; ) :
On the races, we will assign a number of Bibs per performance level range, for example :
- if there are 150 Bibs available between level 36 and 40 Betrail and there are 300 requests in this level range, we'll make a random selection from among these people.
- if there are 150 Bibs available between level 41 and 45 Betrail and there are 140 requests in this level range, all requests will be taken.
- if there are 150 Bibs available between level 46 and 50 Betrail, we will continue to follow this logic
- ...
Don't worry, there are also places for "novice" runners without a Betrail index (but go and check your form, we're sure it exists - unless you've never run a single trail Race ).
This system may not be perfect, but we remind you that our aim is to have roughly the same number of people per performance level, so that everyone can enjoy the event.
* subject to availability and valid only for pre-registration requests made on the registration module between October 1 and 14.
** subject to availability of "local specials" (limited to 50% of Bibs reserved per Race format and event) -> valid only for pre-registration requests made on the registration module between October 1 and 14. The process will be automatic via the module (your postal address from your participation history of recent years will be taken into account). A local runner is a runner who lives in a commune (zip code) where the Race takes place.
