MaXi-Inclusivity

For several years now, we've been keen to make our event accessible to all. We have therefore created a charter of commitments to inclusion.

With MaXi-Inclusivity, we want to affirm a simple conviction: to consolidate the commitments we've been making for many years by offering a dedicated page on our website where everyone can find their place.

Our commitments

Welcoming every runner

  • We believe that everyone has a place on our paths, whatever their individuality. Disability doesn't define a person: it's part of their story, and enriches our community.

Valuing all forms of participation

Acting with transparency and vigilance

  • Safety remains an essential element of our organization. This is why our Race rules remain the reference for all participation. If a situation presents a risk, we can ask for further information and discuss potential alternatives. Refusal of entry can only be exceptional, and will be explained clearly and always with an eye to solutions.

A shared vision

"Asserting yourself as you are means receiving even more respect and encouragement."

Brice Marmonnier - para-athlete

In 2022, MaXi-Race supported the Tiger Raid Tour du Mont Blanc project and the GR20 crossing in Corsica, helping the war-wounded members of the 27° BCA to rebuild their lives through sport and mutual aid. This exchange continued in 2023 with their participation in the opening ceremony of the U18 Mountain Race World Cup, followed by the Short-Race.

Welcoming para-athletes and Joëlettes

  • In 2023, members of the Breton association "Nos Limites" accompanied their Joëlette pilot, 14-year-old Noah, who is motorically handicapped, for a half-tour of the Lake on a specially adapted course designed by our organization.
  • In 2024, a relay of visually impaired runners accompanied by their guide took the start of the tOur du lac relay. Their aim was to show that, whatever the disability, anything is possible if you give yourself the means. To promote this message, they produced a film throughout the Race.

The relay tOur du lac was in 2022 les Relais SEPas Impossible

In 2022, the tOur du lac relay took on the name SEPas Impossible to support a local association.

Born in 2014 to communicate about Multiple Sclerosis (MS), their aim is to break the isolation of sufferers and convince public authorities to build a medicalized facility for dignified and appropriate care. As the trail community shares many common values (solidarity, conviviality, mutual aid...), it seemed logical to us to join forces with this local association run on a voluntary basis, and the relays seemed to us to be the ideal Race for this.
