The Loop Around the Lake
A challenging course to push yourself
The " Demi tOur du lac" hike, starting in Doussard, covers between 50 and 60 km and reaches an elevation of 1,650 meters, offering a view that’s as magical as ever!
Once again this year, the Tour du Lac will follow a clockwise route.
This year, the Tour du Lac will therefore follow a route in the opposite direction from previous editions—that is, clockwise. This means that the “Demi tOur du lac ” will also run in the opposite direction. The final mountain to climb will be the Semnoz, offering a 360° view (the Mont Blanc massif, La Tournette, Lake Bourget, and more).

“The SAS values” are provided for informational purposes only; some variations may occur. In addition, the SASs were established on October 31 based on the Betrail performance index you had at that time. It is not possible to change your SAS, even if your Betrail index has increased or decreased since that date.
To get to the start, follow the signs on foot.
The SAS will open 20 minutes before the SAS departure time.
Your Race time will begin when you cross the starting line.
Time limits are calculated based on the departure time of the last wave.
Failure to comply with the SAS and/or the starting wave will result in penalties, including disqualification from the race ( Race ), as specified in the rules.

What is the "toggle" system?
- To give you even more chance of finishing, we are implementing a "toggle" system.
- You’ve been training for months, but on the big day, you’re not quite at your best… We’ve got you covered and have come up with a “shortcut”
- Depending on your schedule at this intersection, you will be redirected to a new, shorter route called a "bascule." This bascule system allows you to finish with a time penalty.
- All individuals who took the switch will be reclassified behind those who completed the initial course in its entirety.
Bibs withdrawals
- No Bib will be issued on the day of the Race.
- Bib 's withdrawal takes place the day before the " Race " (Saturday, May 29)
- One month before the Race, you must reserve your time slot on your personal space.
- Collection point: MaXi-Village in the Marquisats parking lot (Annecy)
Race Bib Pickup Bib
- You must pick up your Bib person, along with all required documentation, during your assigned time slot.
- An email confirming your Bibs pickup, Bibs your Bib time, your Bib number Bib the note “Application Approved: YES.”

- Note: For relay races, the team captain may collect the Bib all team members.
Bib recovery: how does it work?
To limit overcrowding and large gatherings, we have set up time slots for picking up “ Bibs ” (reservations can be made from April 23 to May 21).
We have allocated 30% more slots than the number of registrants to give you greater flexibility in choosing your time slot.
Please note the following information:
- For each Race, several slots are available with limited numbers of places, so the earlier you make your choice, the more possibilities you'll have.
- As long as a time slot is displayed, it means there are still spots available. Once you’ve made your selection, REMEMBER TO SUBMIT (at the bottom of the form)!!! Otherwise, your selection won’t be saved!!!
- Once you've made a choice, you can change it before the response deadline (May 21).
- Because of the possibility of changing slots, it is possible that a full slot will be reopened, but the organization has no visibility on this.
PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to access the gym where race Bibs are picked up Bibs a stroller, as there are stairs.
Access to refuelling/assistance areas
- To reach the Semnoz base camp, assistants and guides can use the MaXi-Car option (which can be purchased through the online store or on-site) or make their own way there (by bike, car, or other means).
- Activities for children and families, cheese tasting, refreshments, and more will be available. A special bus service will depart from Annecy to make it easier for you to get there.

Shuttle bus option to get to the starting point
- You have the possibility of taking a bus option to get to the departure point of your Race for 12€.

Batch by category
For individual races, the first men and women in each category will be rewarded. Category winners must present themselves at the Info Point (at the entrance to MaXi-Village), during opening hours, at the earliest 1 hour after their arrival (due to staggered wave starts) and with proof of their ranking in order to collect their prize.
