Ado-race
The Ado-Race philosophy
In “Ado-Race,” the word “Race” is significant, since it stands for “ Race .” An “ Race ” has a performance-based objective: physical, time-based, and technical. We emphasize this, so the teens must “run” the entire course—or nearly so (as some climbs can be steep or technically challenging)! The course is a “real” trail run, so it’s demanding, and you need to be used to steep trails—which can even be slippery depending on the weather!
Here are the FFA categories that MaXi must follow for 2027:
• U12: Individuals born between January 1, 2016, and December 31, 2017 “Race eXperience” (un timed) –
• U14: Individuals born between January 1, 2014, and December 31, 2015
• U16: Participants born between January 1, 2012, and December 31, 2013
• U18: Participants born between January 1, 2010, and December 31, 2011
